BeBMSR Introduction

These rules, hereinafter referred to as “BeBMSR,” govern the submission of digital portfolios to Bibliomania e-Books. By submitting your work, you agree to comply with these terms.

BeBMSR Definitions

  1. “We,” “Us,” “Our,” refers to Wayne A. Cargill Agency, including all Digital Platforms and Digital Services within our Digital Media Network.
  2. “You,” “Your,” refers to the individual author submitting original, unpublished amateur short stories or poems.
  3. “Work(s),” “Material(s),” “Submission(s),” “Portfolio,” “Digital Portfolio,” “Manuscript” refers to any digital documents, images, or audio files submitted.

Submission Guidelines

  1. Submitted works must be original, unique, and unpublished. Plagiarism or previously published material is prohibited.
  2. You must own all submitted works and have complete authority to submit them.
  3. Submitted works must not be under any existing representation or contractual obligation.
  4. Submissions are limited to amateur authors. Professional submissions will not be considered.
  5. For security, you must use a pseudonym or screen name, different from your legal name.
  6. Provide a brief biography, including your country of residence, but exclude specific city information.
  7. Only the top 78 submissions (3 per genre) will be selected.

Representation and Agreement

  1. Selected authors must sign an exclusive five-year agreement with Wayne A. Cargill Agency, under Client Scout e-Entertainment, and Bibliomania e-Books. For minors, parental consent is required.
  2. During the agreement, you are expected to promote Bibliomania e-Books, Client Scout e-Entertainment, and Wayne A. Cargill Agency.

Financial Terms

  1. You will receive 70% of the proceeds from e-Book sales/leases. The remaining 30% will be allocated as follows:
  2. All corporate-sponsored endorsements must be approved in writing by Wayne A. Cargill Agency. Client Scout e-Entertainment will receive a 5% commission.
  3. Corporate-sponsored endorsements and advertisements must be written, branded, and marketed by Client Scout’s respective Digital Services at prevailing wages, with Wayne A. Cargill Agency’s written approval.

Rights and Ownership

  1. Wayne A. Cargill holds perpetual exclusive rights and 100% ownership to all submitted works.
  2. You will perpetually receive 70% of the net profits from the proceeds of online e-Book sales/leases, and streaming. For collaborative works, net profits from the proceeds is split 50/50.
  3. We retain 100% ownership of the e-Book itself, web pages, code, and intellectual properties.
  4. We hold perpetual rights to the e-Book, web pages, code, intellectual properties, and content.

Termination and Continuation

  1. Early termination of the agreement incurs a $19,898.00 CAD fee plus applicable taxes.
  2. Termination at the end of the five-year agreement is free of charge.
  3. We may offer a new five-year agreement upon expiration.
  4. Upon termination, we will issue a press release within three business days.

Formatting and Submission Requirements

  1. Submissions must not exceed 37,500 words.
  2. Paragraphs must not exceed 250 words.
  3. Pages must not exceed three paragraphs.
  4. Submissions must not exceed 50 pages.
  5. Submissions must be in Microsoft Word 97+ or Open Office format.

Internet Exclusivity Clause

  1. Bibliomania e-Books, Client Scout e-Entertainment, and Wayne A. Cargill Agency hold and enforce Internet exclusivity for all submitted works.
